1. Description of Service

cliq is a Looking For Group (LFG) platform designed to help players find compatible teammates by game, rank, language, and reputation. The service includes a matchmaking system, a community reputation system, OAuth integrations with gaming platforms, and communication channels between players.

By creating an account or using cliq, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree, do not use the platform.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

To use cliq you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws of your country if higher.
  • Be at least 18 years old to access content related to M-rated (Mature) or PEGI 18+ games.
  • Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
  • Not create multiple accounts to circumvent penalties.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account access.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that do not meet these requirements or that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable Conduct

cliq is an anti-toxic platform. By using the service you agree to:

  • Not harass, insult, or discriminate against other players for any reason.
  • Not cheat (cheating, exploits, hacks) or help others do so.
  • Not use offensive language, threats, or hate content.
  • Not share inappropriate content (spam, malware, illegal content).
  • Not attempt to manipulate the reputation system through fraudulent rating agreements.
  • Report inappropriate behavior you witness.

Violation of these rules may result in a reduction of your reputation score, temporary match restrictions, or permanent deletion of your account, at cliq's discretion.

4. Reputation System

Every user has a reputation score based on feedback from teammates they've played with. This score affects match availability. Users with low reputation will see a reduced pool of potential teammates until their behavior improves. cliq reserves the right to adjust or reset scores in cases of detected fraud.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on cliq — including design, logos, code, text, and features — is owned by cliq or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By uploading content to the platform (avatar, profile description, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in the context of the service.

Game names, trademarks, and logos of third parties (Riot Games, Valve, Epic Games, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and are used in accordance with their brand usage policies.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

cliq is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that matches will always be satisfactory. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cliq shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to cliq in the last 12 months (which in most cases will be zero, as the service is free).

8. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. When changes are material, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform at least 15 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to cliq's place of establishment. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to any rights that local law may grant you as a consumer.
